AAPI Representation in music
Asians make up over 60% of the global population but are still underrepresented on music’s global stage. While Asians in music have been steadily on the rise, we still have a long way to go. Tune in at 1pm on Friday, May 20th, for a conversation with Nicholas Cheung (WMHK), Bohan Phoenix (JUIICE), and WMG DEI Institute faculty member Sophia Chang, moderated by Allyson Toy. The panel will start by setting the stage, diving into responsibility and the difference between inclusion and representation, and ultimately how anyone can turn good intentions into meaningful action.
